Olympia Titan Tribute

A NEWSLETTER FOR THE OLYMPIA SCHOOL COMMUNITY

Principal's Message

Titan Families,

With the first nine weeks behind us, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible energy, effort, and excellence that define Olympia High School. From classrooms to athletic fields to community service projects, Titans have shown what it means to lead with pride and purpose.

Our inaugural Connectivity Day was a true highlight. This student-led event brought our campus together to build relationships and explore interests in meaningful ways. It was inspiring to see students take the lead, and planning for the next event is already underway with their voices at the center.

Our fall sports teams have represented Olympia with distinction. A special shout-out to our cross country runners and bowling athletes for their outstanding performances this season. Their commitment to training, perseverance through challenges, and unwavering teamwork are a true reflection of the Titan spirit. Whether racing across the finish line or rolling for that perfect frame, these athletes remind us that success comes from dedication and heart.

I also want to recognize the Wounded Warrior Club for their incredible outreach to local veterans. This group of students has gone above and beyond to show appreciation for those who have served our country. Their compassion and leadership remind us that service is not just an action; it is a core value of our Titan community.

As we begin the second quarter, our focus remains clear: academic growth, student engagement, and creating a school environment where every Titan feels valued and supported. Thank you for your continued partnership. Together, we will keep moving forward. #TitanUp!

We are collecting soda can tabs that students can turn into room 427 until October 24. The pop tabs collected are given to the Ronald McDonald House where they get money from the tabs. The money helps to support kids with cancer and their families.

On October 3, Olympia High students took part in Connectivity Day, a special initiative giving them the opportunity to explore interests, join clubs, and connect with classmates and teachers over shared hobbies. With over a dozen activities, starting from art and music to culinary and fishing, students enjoyed trying new things while fostering a more inclusive and welcoming school environment.
