The Cambridge program at Olympia High School is growing rapidly, and exists to ensure students are receiving a rigorous, challenging curriculum that is internationally recognized.

In the state of Florida, Cambridge exam fees are paid by schools, there are scholarships for qualifying Cambridge students, grants, and graduation credits towards many colleges. This includes over 1000 higher learning institutions in the US who have policies in place to accept Cambridge AICE credits.
Click on the links below to learn how earning a Cambridge AICE Diploma provides a pathway to the highest level of the Bright Futures Scholarship (FAS), covering 100% tuition at Florida public institutions. Students must complete the diploma, 100 hours of community service, and submit the Florida Financial Aid Application by graduation.

- Cambridge Global Perspectives & Research
Group 1: Mathematics and Sciences -
- Cambridge Marine Science (1 credit)
- CambridgePsychology* (1 or 2 credits)
Group 2: Languages -
- Cambridge English Language (1 credit)
- Cambridge Portuguese Language (1 credit)
- Cambridge Spanish Language and Literature (2 credits)
Group 3: Arts and Humanities -
- Cambridge Drama (1 credit)
- Cambridge Psychology* (1 or 2 credits)
Group 4: Interdisciplinary Subjects (optional) -
- Cambridge English General Paper (1 credit)
- Cambridge Thinking Skills (1 credit)
*Cambridge Psychology can be used to fulfill Groups 1 or 3 towards the AICE Diploma*
How to earn the Cambridge AICE Diploma at Olympia High School:
Students can earn and apply for an AICE Diploma (ADIP) after completing 7 required credits. Currently students have a 25 month timeframe to complete requirements towards the Diploma.
- Students must complete Global Perspectives and Research under Group 0.
- Students must then complete at least one course from each of the Groups 1-3.
- After completing at least one course from each of the three groups (Groups 1-3) AND Global Perspectives (Group 0), students can take any other Cambridge courses offered to complete their requirements towards ADIP.
