Infrastructure Trial - On Tuesday February 3 all students will participate in the infrastructure trial during their 4th period. This trial is to test the internet and make sure that all student devices are ready for end of the year testing. Please remind your student to bring their school laptop on Tuesday.

PERT Testing - The next PERT test is February 9. If your student is interested in Dual Enrollment, have them sign up for the PERT using the link in the student body canvas page.

Cap and Gown Prices Increase Sunday- Saturday, January 31 is the last day you have to purchase your graduating senior's cap and gown at the lowest price. Orders can be placed online at herffjones.com. All orders must be placed by April 1.

Grad Bash for Olympia Seniors will be Friday, April 24 from 6:00 pm-3:00 am at Universal Orlando. Grad Bash is an optional experience for graduating seniors. Universal opens both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure exclusively for ticketed seniors for this special event. Tickets are $135 to pay for admission to two theme parks and bus transportation. Tickets MUST be purchased before March 9. Tickets are non-refundable, so make sure you have the date available. It is a student holiday on the OCPS Calendar.

Student IDs- Beginning in March, students will be required to display their student IDs upon entering the school campus. Currently, they are required to have them at all times while on campus to ensure they are in the right locations when their class has a substitute, attend school events, and participate in other related school activities. 

Student Safety - Once students are on campus, they are required to stay on campus unless signed out by a parent or guardian. This is to ensure that all of our Olympia students are safe and supervised at all times.

Cell Phones & iPads/tablets & Headphones - From first to last bell, students may not use cell phones, iPads, tablets, smartwatches, earbuds, or headphones. Per OCPS policy, all devices must be silenced and stored in a backpack or purse for the entire school day, including during class changes and lunch. If a student is found using a device, they will be required to turn it in. After the first offense, progressive discipline will follow.
