Titan Families,
There is strong momentum in Titan Nation right now, both in our classrooms and in the future of our campus. We are looking forward to the upcoming 60% Design Community Meeting, where updated architectural drawings shaped by stakeholder feedback will be shared and the status of our comprehensive campus renovations will be discussed. Please join School Board Member Anne Douglas and the Olympia High School community on Thursday, March 26, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the school auditorium. This renovation represents an important investment in the future of our students and the creation of modern, high quality learning environments that reflect the excellence taking place in our classrooms every day. Your participation is important as we continue moving this work forward together.
Inside those classrooms, our teachers continue to lead meaningful work and our students continue to excel. We are proud of our Culinary team advancing to State competition and the dedication shown by our Science Olympiad and Potter’s Guild students. Programs such as Biomedical Science and AICE Marine Science provide hands-on, real world lab experiences that prepare students for future pathways. Our commitment to rigorous academics remains strong through Advanced Placement courses, AICE, FFA, Portuguese, National Honor Society service initiatives, and dual enrollment opportunities. The upcoming Curriculum Fair and our College and Career Survival Guide will help families make informed decisions as we prepare for next year and beyond.
Titan Nation continues to move forward with purpose academically, programmatically, and physically. Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we build the future of Olympia High School together.

Olympia students put their culinary skills and knowledge to the test in the State Culinary Competition on February 20 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel! This year, Olympia High School Culinary 3rd-4th year students competed in the ProStart 2026 Competition, they won 3rd place for the District Competition, and this year they became one of the unprecedented 6 Orange County High Schools that made it to the State Competition.

Juniors Slay the SAT with Senior-Led "Survival Guide" Workshop
On Wednesday (2/25/26), the CCRC/Media Center was buzzing with "Main Character Energy" as 32 ambitious Juniors gathered for the SAT Survival Guide Workshop. Moving beyond standard test prep, this event featured a peer-to-peer approach where Juniors gained exclusive insight from a team of experts who have already "been there, done that" and come out on top.
Attendees rotated through four sessions designed to take the drama out of testing:
-Decoding the SAT Drama: A deep dive into actual test questions and how to beat them.
-Minutes > Meltdowns: Strategic time management to ensure every second counts.
-Main Character Energy: A session focused on the mentality and thought process needed to walk into the testing room with confidence.
-All About Desmos: Mastering the digital tools available to give students a competitive edge.
A special THANK YOU goes out to our incredible student leaders: Alex Ballard, Liam Bonnet-Eymard, Brooke Deaton, and honorary Senior-Junior Lucia Sanchez. By sharing their personal strategies and successful "Senior Secrets," these leaders helped the Class of 2027 get a head start on their college journey with much more confidence and a lot less stress.
