Drop-Off Time: Campus opens for student drop-off at 6:30 AM. The first warning bell rings at 7:14 AM, and class begins promptly at 7:20 AM.

Car Line Efficiency: At 7:20 AM, staff working the car loop will enter the building to begin the instructional day. Please plan to arrive as early as possible to avoid first-day traffic delays!

Car Loop Procedure: All vehicular drop-offs and pick-ups must occur exclusively through our designated main loop. Please follow the routing lane indicators and staff directives to keep the line moving safely and efficiently.

Schedules Ready: Please help your Titan have their schedule ready before arriving on campus. Students should review their schedules on Skyward and will be able to use their phones throughout the first few days of school to do so.
Scooter, E-Bike & Micromobility Safety
Orange County Public Schools has updated its policy regarding electric bikes, scooters, and other motorized personal transportation devices. Please review the following key guidelines:

Driver's License / Permit Required: Only high school students with a valid driver’s license or learner’s permit are permitted to bring approved micromobility devices (e-bikes, e-scooters, hoverboards, etc.) onto district property.

Prohibited Vehicles (E-Motorcycles): E-bikes without pedals (e-motorcycles) are strictly prohibited on school grounds and could result in law enforcement fines.

Registration & Decal:Eligible students must register their device with Olympia High School to obtain an official district decal. The registration process for this will be published in the next coming days.

Grace Period Note: Registration requirements do not go into effect until Tuesday, September 8th (providing a 30-day grace period).

Dismount & Walk Policy (Day 1 Expectation): Regardless of decal status, ALL scooters, e-bikes, and standard bicycles MUST be dismounted and walked the moment students reach school property. Riding on sidewalks, courtyards, athletic fields, or pedestrian walkways on campus is strictly prohibited.

Parking & Power: Devices must be parked and secured in designated bike racks. Detached batteries and charging device batteries on school grounds are not permitted.

Bus Eligibility & Registration: If your student lives outside the two-mile walking zone and plans to ride the bus, registration is mandatory. Please visit the OCPS Transportation Site and click Student Bus Registration first.

OCPS Policies & Expectations

Wireless Communication Devices & Personal Electronics: Per OCPS policy and state law, student cell phones, smartwatches, and headphones/earbuds must be turned off or set to silent and stored out of sight in backpacks from 7:20 AM to 2:20 PM (including the first day of school).

Smart Glasses Prohibited: Please note that electronic smart glasses (e.g., Ray-Ban Meta glasses, audio/camera eyewear) are strictly prohibited on campus.

Dress Code:The OCPS dress code is enforced starting Day 1:
- Shirts must cover the entire midriff, front and back, with no exposed stomach area. Tops with low necklines, crop tops, or muscle shirts are not permitted.
- Shorts, skirts, and dresses must reach mid-thigh length.
- Undergarments must not be visible at any time.
- Clothing displaying offensive language, violence, or references to adult products (alcohol, tobacco, vapes, drugs) is prohibited.

Titan Pride: We LOVE seeing our students in Teal, Gray, and Black, as well as official Olympia High School gear!

Please ensure all mandatory annual digital forms are completed promptly via the OCPS Parent Portal:

- Complete all required fields and submissions (including emergency contact and health forms).
- Re-check Online Forms to confirm all statuses show completed.

Nutrition

Meals: FREE breakfast, FREE lunch, and FREE supper service remain available to ALL students every school day.
Campus Safety & Visitor Protocols: Per Florida state law and OCPS safety mandates, all perimeter and exterior building doors remain locked at all times. All visitors must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the main entrance security check before gaining access to campus.
- All Visitors must sign in at the front office.
- All volunteers must be ADDITIONS approved.
- All exterior doors and gates will be locked throughout the day unless they are supervised.
- Food delivery from Uber and DoorDash, etc. is prohibited during the school day.
- Upon arrival to campus, students should enter the building immediately. No hanging out in the parking lot or leaving campus. Students may hang out in the cafeteria or courtyard at arrival.
- After the first two weeks of school, parents, family members, and guests who do not have a hang tag will be denied entry to campus during arrival and dismissal.

From Concrete to Community: The Titan Courtyard's Glow-Up is Underway!
Student clubs, organizations, and departments spent the summer transforming our courtyard into a vibrant showcase of the incredible opportunities Olympia has to offer. From colorful painted squares to eye-catching banners, every addition helps tell the story of our school and the many ways students can get involved.

And this is only the beginning! The Mount Olympus Makeover is still in progress, and we'll continue to share updates throughout the year as new features and displays are added. We can't wait to see this space grow into a true reflection of Titan pride, spirit, and community. Stay tuned...the glow-up continues!

Mrs. Norton wants to thank Jamie Travis, Ella Terrell, Paige Brown, Paisley McCoy, Alexis Giordano, and Bryce St. Croix for dedicating time from their summer to come in and help paint the courtyard, clean and decorate the Ceramics Studio, and man their table for Club Rush. These students have done an AMAZING job contributing to beautifying our school and the ceramics classroom culture! |
It's a new school year and that means an all new look for Titan TV! Meet this year's Executive Productors...Breckan Russo and Olivia Lopez. This is the fourth year in Titan TV for both of our Execs and they are very excited to present an all new Titan TV for the upcoming school year. The first show will feature our new Principal, Mr. Ott, and showcase our all new show opening and theme song "How Come" by Mustard Service & JW Francis.
