Upcoming Testing: Makeups for AP and State tests are happening all next week. Students, please check your email for makeup information. CFEs are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week in your class during your block period.
Graduation 2025- Graduation for the Class of 2025 will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 2 pm at the Addition Financial Arena at UCF. All seniors will also be required to attend the mandatory graduation rehearsal on Monday, May 19 at 9 am here in the Olympia Auditorium. Please arrive at rehearsal at 8:30 am so you are not late. Students do not need to wear caps and gowns to rehearsal. Students must attend the rehearsal to receive their free graduation tickets, so please do not schedule anything else. Summer School- We will be hosting summer school at Olympia. The schedule for summer school is as follows:June 3rd-5th; June 9th –12th and June 16th and 17th Please note that there will be NO classes on Fridays. The daily schedule for students will be from 7:30AM to 1:30PM. Breakfast will be available starting at 7:00AM, and lunch will also be provided. Transportation will NOT be provided. For drop-off and pick-up, please use the front entrance of the school and drop students off in front of the media center/ gym. This is opposite of our normal drop off procedure. All students driving to school will park in the senior parking lot for summer school. Students will enter school using the entrance to the left of the front office, nearest the media center. This is opposite of our normal during the year procedure and we ask that you please adhere to this for summer only. We look forward to a productive and enriching summer session.
Digital Device Collection- All students will need to turn in their laptops before leaving school for summer break.Please make sure your student brings their charger and case each day to avoid any fines. During the CFE Block period on Wednesday we will begin device collection through ELA courses that do not have CFE’s.
No backpacks or book bags- May 27th and 28th students will not be permitted to carry a backpack or any bag larger than a sheet of paper, any bag deemed to be outside of these guidelines will be taken and held until the end of the school day.
School bus registration: Log into the OCPS Parent Portal to complete the school bus registration form to register your child to ride the bus for the 2025-2026 school year.
OHS Yearbook: If you have not yet picked up your yearbook, you will need to come to room #410 to do so. Yearbooks can be picked up in room #410 before school, during lunch or after school.
Rising Senior On-Campus Photo Shoot: DSP photography will be on campus over the summer to take senior photos. They will be here Monday through Thursday the weeks of June 23rd through the 26th and July 21st through the 24th. This will be a limited senior portrait session. You will be able to choose between a couple of session types. Visit https://dsp-photo.com/BookNow to book your “On-Campus Senior Portraits” session. All senior photos must be taken by November 15th to be included in the yearbook.

Reminders:
Excused Absences- To excuse absences, please upload a medical note or handwritten parent note to our Request to Excuse Absence Google Form. There is a 48hr (2 business days) deadline from the first absence date so try to get it done as soon as possible. The Google Form Link and guidelines are at the top of the school webpage for parents to review.
Food Delivery- Food delivery of any kind is not allowed to school for students during the day. Food delivery drivers will not be allowed into the office to drop food off. To prevent any safety issues, only the parents or guardians of students are allowed to bring food to their students.
OCPS cell phone use policy- As a reminder, the district cell phone use policy for students means that after the start of the school day, cell phones must be placed on silent and placed in a backpack or purse for the duration of the school day including class changes and lunch. In addition, the rule applies to watches, earbuds and other such devices.
