To be accepted as a member of the Olympia High School NHS, a student must meet further standards of good character, citizenship, leadership, and service. The Olympia High School NHS Faculty Council will use the information provided in this application, personal knowledge of the student, and information from other school personnel in the selection process.

Please be aware that some students may not be selected for membership. (This usually means the committee did not see enough evidence of one or more of the required standards of good character, citizenship, leadership, and/or service.)

In order to be considered to become a member of Olympia's NHS, the student must:

1). Personally fill in the Candidate Application with well written, quality answers using proper grammar, syntax, and without using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Chat GPT, or plagiarizing someone else's work by September 9 at 12 pm.

2). Three Letters of Recommendation completed by faculty members or other adults who have worked with the student by September 9 at 12 pm.

NO Candidate Applications or Essays will be accepted after September 9 at 12 pm.  Candidates will be notified by email whether or not they have been accepted into Olympia's NHS.  If accepted, new candidates will be inducted at the NHS Induction Ceremony on September 24 at 6 pm.
